Bridge Town Sound - a Portland Men's Chorus
Bridge Town Sound (BTS) aspires to be the premiere men's a cappella chorus in the Pacific Northwest. We represent the Portland Metro chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society. Founded in 2001, BTS has been a frequent winner of the all-Oregon barbershop chorus contest.
BTS is prepared to provide entertainment for your group or event. We offer entertaining musical packages up to 30 minutes in length.
We welcome all guests (singing or non-singing) to our weekly Tuesday evening rehearsals. They take place from 7:00-9:30 pm at the Holladay Park Church of God, 2120 NE Tillamook St. Portland, OR 97212.
Division IV Contest Success!
Bridge Town Sound competed at the EVG Division IV contest in Medford on April 14. Although we didn't win, we sang well and came within 2 points of the top with a score of 430 (out of 600), an average of 71.7%. We will almost certainly be invited to the Evergreen District convention and contest on September 30, 2012 in Spokane.
