This family-friendly show features top barbershop ensembles, including:

International silver medalist quartet, Signature

Signature is composed of four powerhouse voices, all of whom have been barbershoppers since their early teen years and have been in many different quartets. This foursome has been together since October of 2013. Since then, the quartet has gone on to represent the Sunshine District in the International Quartet Competition in Pittsburgh, PA (July 2015) where they finished 15th their very first time out. Later that year they became the Sunshine District Quartet Champions. In 2016, they earned the International 4th place bronze medal, and then took the International silver medal in 2017 and again in 2018.

Internationally-ranked region favorites, Renegade

What a year it has been for the Renegade girls. They’ve performed in four different states, sharing the stage with some of their favorite international champion barbershop groups, including Lustre Quartet, Frenzy, and The Ringmasters. Last year Renegade won the Northwest Harmony Sweeps, got a wildcard to Sweet Adelines International, and reached 11th place and mic tested for the finals after only 9 months together. Tenor Rachel Pack, lead Alena Hemingway, baritone Holly Davis, and bass Bethany Frerichs are thrilled to continue their journey together this year!

Sweet Adelines International chorus medalists, Pride of Portland
(performing just on the evening show)

Pride of Portland Chorus is one of over 700 Sweet Adelines International choruses worldwide and is honored to be one of only a handful that consistently finish in the top ten at International competitions. A perennial regional champion, they set a record score at the Region 24 competition before finishing 4th in the world at the 2014 international competition. They followed that up with another record-breaking score at the 2017 Region 13 contest to capture their eighth consecutive regional title in North by Northwest Region 13.
The chorus repertoire spans all musical genres, from barbershop standards to pop mash-ups, including golden oldies, jazz, blues, patriotic, gospel, show tunes and adult contemporary. Their members represent a diverse, dynamic demographic from all walks of life, ranging in age from 13 to 80+ and united by an unwavering devotion to a cappella harmony and the unique sisterhood that chorus life embodies.

Sweet Adelines International Region 13 chorus, Northwest Harmony
(performing just on the matinee show)

Northwest Harmony is a women’s chorus of dynamic ladies singing in the barbershop style and performing throughout the year for private and public events. They also compete annually in the regional chorus competition, which keeps them focused on refining their singing and performing skills. Northwest Harmony was chartered in Vancouver by Sweet Adelines International in 1997. Their members come from all corners of our local communities and love the challenge and joy of singing and performing this unique style of music. Their repertoire includes songs from all eras, featuring everything from Broadway Show Tunes to Jazz, from 1900 traditional barbershop ballads to patriotic standards.

Local school quartet, Brothers and Others

Brothers and Others is a local barbershop quartet comprised of three choral students from Westside Christian High School and their teacher Will Fox. Westside’s award-winning choral music program trains students in sight singing, music theory, vocal production, stage presence, and various styles of musical literature, including praise and worship. Choral ensembles from Westside have competed in the district choral competition to qualify for the Oregon state choral competition, which they have done for the past seventeen years and have won the state championship for the last ten consecutive years.
